Hello community,
I am trying to understand if a purchase requisition has a requester?
I can see the field "preparer" in the header. If I export the requisition using the purchase requisitions v2 entity, I also cannot see a requester.
The purchase requisition header workflow allows to select a requester in the approval elements.
I totally understand this for the line workflow, but how does this work for the header workflow? Does it work for header workflow?
I thought that maybe the first line of the requisition specifies the requester.... because there is no field for the requester in the header.
Thanks for help,
Benjamin
Example:
Preparer is Person A
Requesters are B and C
After I have done some tests my conclusion is:
- The first line of the purchase requisition is used to find the requester.
- The purchase requisition workflow uses the first line to find the requester and routes the approval element to the manager of the requester.
Better would be to specify the requester on the header. Because this seems to be impossible, I have to put the requester in the first line.
I am going to close this now, as it is solved for me.
Best regards,
Benjamin
