How can I find out the value of Labor and Overhead in my ending inventory?   Is there a smartlist or SmartView table that separates materials, labor and OH?

Thinking of this from an accounting perspective, I've wondered the same thing.

I have not tested this, but could it be as simple as setting up the Item Class Accounts Setup - Costing window to separate by however many of the 8 available accounts you wish to use?  Then they would be in separate, reportable accounts in the trial balance and available for any financial statement reporting.

At the bottom of the Item Class Accounts Setup - Costing window, there are fields to enter accounts for (1) Inventory - Mat. Fixed OH; (2) Inventory - Mat Var. OH; (3) Inventory - Labor; (4) Inventory - Labor Fixed OH; (5) Inventory - Var. OH; (6) Inventory - Machine; (7) Inventory - Mach. Fixed OH; and (8) Inventory - Mach. Var OH.  These would correspond to the way the company has set up its costing structure.

    Hi.

Are you looking for a GL report that lists out what your MFG inventory accounts show for a balance?  From a smartlist perspective there isn't anything like that .  More around what Current MOs there are and amount remaining in WIP type of reports.

Are you looking to see per these values per MO?  Or just in general like a total for each bucket in general for a specific period?

    Warmest Regards,

    Angela
