Hi All,

There is a requirement to Hide the "Check Access" Button on few set of forms like Case but should be enable for another set of forms for example Account,Account, contact .

I found a solution but by implementing that the button got hidden from all the entities forms which i don't want.

Can anyone please  let me know the solution.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

Richa

    Hello Richa,

Yes that's possible. You can do that easily for specific entity. Using ribbon workbench.

    Steps-

    1. Create one solution and the only entity for which you need to hide the button.

    2. Open that solution in ribbon workbench.

    3. Once solution is loaded, you would see 3 ribbons.. Home Grid, Sub grid and Form..

    4. If you want to hide the button from the Form ribbon, locate the "Check Access" button, right click and click on hide.

    5. Publish the solution.

Note- A lot can be done using ribbon workbench.. You can hide the button even on certain conditions as well.

    Hi Richa,

I remember that I could hide this button for all entities using the application ribbon component.

Now I see that it is possible to hide it for a particular entity:

    1. Add your entity to a solution, the entity metadata is enough, no need to add all assets.
    2. Open your solution on RibbonWorkbench, then on the Form tab, look for the Open Yammer button, you will find on the left some buttons without label. One of these buttons represents the button you are looking for "Access Checker".
