Number sequence - status list

Dear ,

Does anyone encountered issues where the number has been used and is also in the status list(with status of free)?

In our case, the next number on the number sequence was about 1400 and when a cleanup was made, all the numbers 1 to 1399 appear in status list as free.

Number sequence was set to continuous.

    Did you do any changes to the settings of the number sequence before running the cleanup?

    Is there any customized code included in utilizing of this number sequence?

    Settings were not changed and only see one record with action as created.

    We do have some customization in the process which utilizes the number sequence and not specifically generating numbers using the number sequence.

    I'm sorry but I'm not sure if I understand your message. What do you mean by "see one record with action as created"? Where is this, can you share a screenshot?

    And about the customization, do you mean that you are taking the number in some special way or not?

    When i check the history on the number sequence, i did not find any references explaining that the settings on the number sequence are modified.

    Regarding customization, we are assigning value from a standard field (which has number sequence id ) to a custom field.

    I am also getting same error in 2012 AX version.

    Can you please tell me what you did?

    FYI, No customizations were done.
