How to prevent from user to save attachment in note

Hi,
I need to prevent some users from adding attachments to notes ( case entity) when the user will try to save attachment he will be stopped and get a msg.
How do I do that which event can I use ? or can I reffer to control change? any ideas?

Hi sahara,

Unfortunately, assigning workflows to security roles is not supported. You can create a team and then add the security role to be assigned to that team.

thanks' I need to check user security role and not a team, can I assign according to security role?

Hi sahara,

Please create such a real-time workflow.

There are two steps, one is condition, the other is stop workflow.

Then assign the workflow to the users who cannot add attachment.

You can create a team to add these users and assign the workflow to the team.

In addition, you can determine which users will trigger this workflow via Scope in the workflow.

Thanks, how do I do that? how do I get that field? I choose WF of 'record field change' but which field should I address ?

You can simply create a Real time workflow or Plughin synchronus on create of notes check your conditions and through the error
