Create a view on a virtualized table AX 2012

Hi,

VendTable is virtualized and when I try to create a view joining the dirpartytable, logisticspostaladdress I am getting records for all the legal entities in the result set. How can I get the view to display only one record?

Hi Sreeni,

I do assume you mean to say that the VendTable has been shared via a virtual company? If so, there should be only one record per vendor. If the sharing was created after go-live and data did exist in the VendTable per company, this might not be cleaned up properly.

Can you provide some more information where and how you created the view?

Hi Sreenig,

Views in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 are basically virtual tables.

So, You can create a view instead of a VendTable and then create a second view nesting.
