The file cannot be copied to the specified export file path. Access is denied

Posted on by 5

Hello Community,

We are having this error during import of files.

When we try to reprocess the files (dropping them back to Source folder and let the batch job fetch the files) it is a hit and miss that files will be imported successfully.

Either we encounter the same error and we need to reprocess them again or it will be imported successfully on first try.

Have you experienced this before? Or any suggestion why error is being thrown?

Thanks!

    Hi André,

We are using Data Import/Export functionality for the import/export process.

Files are sent over to AX accessible file shares where corresponding batch job will take over for importing.

Source folder to Processing folder to Completed or Error folder depending on the import result.

Usually we get this error for .XLSX files and happens in different tables.

This occurs (as we have observed) after the on-prem to Cloud migration.

Would it be worth it to reinstall DIXF?

    Hi Noriel,

Can you tell more about the import process? What type of files are you importing? Into what table(s)? What technology are you using for the import?
