Customizing OOB Entities with Custom Product Entity in D365 Field Service

When working with a custom product entity in Dynamics 365 Field Service, are there any potential issues or limitations to consider when customizing out-of-the-box (OOB) entities like Work Order, RMA, and Purchase Order or do we need to go for custom entities for Work Order, RMA, and Purchase Order  ? Any help is much appreciated.
