Massive imports from Sharepoint to D365FO

(1) ShareShare
ReportReport
Posted on by 411
Hi all, I have set up Sharepoint in conjunction with D365FO for the import of electronic purchase reports. This import is done via batch processing, however I am running into a problem: For each batch run only one file is imported. I would like to know if somehow it can be configured to import in bulk, and if possible, an example with which I can visualise it.
Thanks for your attention!

    Hi Jesus,

Unfortunately. we are not able to help you as we don't know what your partner has done. I recommend contacting your vendor to get this issue sorted.

The design of the electronic report is done using the tools provided by D365FO from Organisation Administration - workspaces - electronic reporting.
The part where the files are imported is developed by a partner and we do not have access to it. All this is because we had a bug using it and while it is being corrected we were recommended to use Sharepoint. The only information I can give you is the error that appeared in case it gives you some kind of clue.

    Hi Jesus,

Please provide as much as possible information about the setup and customization of your "electronic report". What do you mean by "standard Microsoft code"?

Hi André, the electronic report part is customised, but the rest we just use the standard microsoft code. Normally we use blog storage, but due to a bug found by our partner, as an alternative while it is being fixed we use Sharepoint. The difference when using it is that we only import one file for each batch run, and we would like all the documents to be in the sharepoint folder.

    Hi Jesus,

Can you tell us more about the batch processing? Is this a customization in your environment or are you using e.g. Azure Logic Apps? If it is a customization, check with your developer if there is a bug or share the coding, so we can check if we can see something that might cause the current behavior.
