Word template: dynamically choose which elements to extract

Hi all,
is there a way to dynamically customize the extracted document using the Word template button functionality?

Let me explain: before exporting the current record to a Word file, I would like to be able to choose which elements of the actual record (fields, subgrids, ecc..) to include in the extracted Word file.

Example: the current record has 10 subgrids but the user wants a Word document containing only 4 of them.
Before extraction it indicates the 4 subgrids chosen (via checklist, popup with multiple choice, etc...).
So how do you produce a word document that includes only those subgrids?

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I'm afraid that it is not available for here.

We need to create a new word template which contain the subgrids  we want.

You can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes.

    Ideas (dynamics.com)

Our product team has direct visibility of these ideas and they will implement it on the basis of the highest number of votes received.

RE: Word template: dynamically choose which elements to extract

Eiken thanks for the answer, but my question was about another topic: what you described is the standard way of creating a word template, this is already clear and it works.

The limit I highlight is: once the template has been created, the user will necessarily have to extract the subgrids defined in the template.
So even if he needs to have a Word document with the extraction of only 4 out of 10 subgrids, if the template is composed of 10 subgrids he will necessarily have to extract them all.

I'm asking if there is a way to let the user choose each time which subgrid to extract in the word document: it shouldn't be a previously defined template but one that adapts to the user's needs.
Is it possible to do this by having a sort of "dynamic Word template" in which we can indicate the elements we need before extraction? (For example which subgrids)
