Mobile Device - "open work list" does not Show open work
Follow the step by step to solve this problem

1 - In the Display work open list menu item, verify that Work classes has been added

2 - Click on the Field List button and configure the fields, for example:
    • Display field = OrderNum
    • Display field 2 = WorkStatus
    • Display field 3 = WorkPriority
    • Display field 3 = createdDateTime

3 - Create the menu item configured for User directed:
    • Mode = Trabalho
    • Use existing work = Sim
    • Directed by = User directed
    • Add the Classes de trabalho

4 - In the Mobile device menu, add the menu item you created as User directed:
    • Mode = Trabalho
    • Use existing work = Sim

NOW is the time to test

RE: Mobile Device - "open work list" does not Show open work

    Hi Fatih

In D365FO I change the parameter "Directed by" in all the MenuItem with works opens and this resolved the problem with my Display open work list menu.  Thank you!

    Hello Ruben,

what Sridharan and other of you say it's correct:

to see open works (for example "Purchase" type) on Open Work List menu item, you need that the same user can access from mobile device to a "User Direct" menu item to process works of that type (for example "Purchase" type).

    Check this out: https://organicax.com/2016/08/06/wms-mobile-device-menu-display-open-work-list-user-directed-menus/

    Hope this could be helpful

Somehow the User Directed is related. In the menu item which you setup the view open work select the mode "Work" and check use existing work. In General tab change Directed By to User Directed. Then change back the mode to Indirect and setup your activity code to Display open work list. Give it a try. Sound strange but work for me.

    Hi Mike,

Well it will display Replenishment work, which doesn't have a load. Are you having a problem with 'Display open work list'?

In a sales order scenario, is it even possible to create Work for a Shipment and not have a Load?

    Hello Ruben,

seems that the "Display open work list" menu item is specifically designed to display shipment works with a load. If you go to Edit Query - Join you'll see that Work table is joined with Load table (and it is not possibile to edit this join), so that if there is no load to join the query returns no record and you're not able to see any work list.

ERRATA CORRIGE: seems that this is not correct (join may be an outer join and not inner join, so that you can also see works that are not joined to a load).

    Hi,

User directed may require because users can directly go to the picking process from Work list form. In order to enable that functionalities, we need Menu item with user directed. However if you need work list only for Read only purpose then yes, it doesn't make any sense to configure this. But unfortunately it doesn't work without user directed menu.

Now to be honest, when i read your Response, i could not imagine this to be the solution. But as it turns out, for WHATEVER Reason there has to be a "UserDirected" work menu item even if it makes no sense at all.

Have you got a any Explanation on WHY?

    Thank you ! :)

    Hi Ruben,

To be able to see works in the list, you should also have a "User directed" work menuitem and it should have the required work classes that matches with open works.

This can be the problem, could you please check?
