Is it possible to reset the status of a sales quotation without database manipulation?
Scenario: A sales quotation was confirmed and it wasn't suppose to be.

I far as I know once the quotation has been confirmed you cannot reset the status from the application. The confirmation would have created a sales order (you need to review this as to whether it's correct or not).
Can I suggest that you create a new quotation to the same prospect or customer then 'copy' from the original confirmed quotation whatever details you need to copy, then delete the original confirmed quotation if necessary.
It only takes a few minutes to copy from an original quote.

I think you can only change quatation statuses to '"Canceled"or "Lost"". All quotations form/Follow up tab/ Generate field group.
