Timeline Activities

Hi all, I'm wondering if there is a way to link timeline activities/notes between entities?  E.g. if a note is written in one entity that note can be viewed in another completely separate entity.  I am looking for a way of tracking a customer journey throughout different entities.
I have the same question (0)

It seems there isn't a direct way to achieve this, but a possible workaround is to create a custom entity and add lookup fields for the parent entities you want to connect.

You can then associate activities and notes with this custom entity. After that, add a rollup subgrid of activities from the custom entity to the parent record.

If you need to view all activities on a single record, this solution could be implemented.

    Thank you,

    Hi There,

You can use power automate flow to copy notes on different entities.

MS recently introduced a feature where you can link email to multiple records (its in preview):

    Thanks

Thank you, both very helpful answers.  In regards to using the 'Related' field, can this also be used for Posts?

    Hi There,

As of the the related field is only available for email activities , which gives an option of associating multiple records (Still in preview).

As far as your question is concerned, all activities have a regarding field which can be used to associate the activity with a record.

So if post is an activity you will see a regarding field to associate it with a record.

Hope that help, if it did please mark my both answers as verified.

    Thanks
    Affan
