Agreement Booking Dates: msdyn_revision field

Good afternoon,

We found some our our agreement booking dates are not properly generating the work orders. The system workflow which generates the work order from the agreement booking dates, says the revision field (msdyn_revision) on the agreement booking date does not have the same value as the same field in the agreement booking setup.

Here is a screenshot (but in Spanish)

We do not know how this field ended up being different between agreement boking setup and agreement booking dates, but we tried to modify it on the agreement booking date via:

- Manually including it on the form

- Manually from power apps maker portal

- Via plugin

- On the form with level up extension and god mode activated.

In all cases, the system returns an error, informing this field cannot be modified.

Any idea on how can we solve it?

Hi Carlos.

It seems like the time zone issue in creating the work orders. There is a hidden field on the Field Service Settings that you configure. It works with agreement bookings and invoices.

Here are my settings.

autogeneration.usetimezoneOptOut=true autogeneration.usetimezone.workorderOptOut=true autogeneration.usetimezone.invoiceOptOut=true inspection.allowuploadlargefilesonline=false isFreshFSInstall=true

Thank you very much for your answer.

Our settings on this field are the same.

For now, we solved the problem by changing the booking recurrence, saving and restoring the initial booking recurrence. This way the Agreement Booking Dates got regenerated with the same Revision number as the Agreement Booking Setup.

Since we don't know what caused the issue, we still don't know if it will happen again in the future, but at least for now we are fine.

We face random issues in this area although years apart.

One thing to be mindful of is depending on how far in advance WorkOrders are generated you may end up with duplicate Bookings / WorkOrders as processed Booking Dates don't get reset however if it regenerates before that date that it regenerates and you will get those Booking dates recreated.

Generate days in advance: 14

17/10/2022 Processed (WO created)

Reset today 10/7/2022

17/10/22 Active (which will now Process and generate another WO)

17/10/2022 Processed (WO created)
