Hide some item in item drop down selection

Hello,

During Sales Order entry, while select an item from drop down list, can we hide some items, probably based on some setup or parameters. I know there is a "Stopped" flag in Released Products - Default Order Settings, but this will not hide it from drop down, just stop it for being used.

Thanks,

    Thank you guys,

Looking at all the advices seems there is no other way than to customize ? While googling, I found this Microsoft documents about Warehouse Management, does it applicable ?

    learn.microsoft.com/.../configure-item-filters-and-filter-codes-for-warehouse-transactions

I tried a little but not yet succeeded. Probably I need to googling more and learn WM first (if it is applicable)

Perhaps if someone here can guide me the straight way how to do it, would be much appreciated.

    Hi Seth Pavanama,

This would require customization. You can override the lookup event handler to build the query and add the ranges based on the requirement.

You can refer to below blog for overriding the lookup method.

    Thanks,

    Girish S.
