Hi is it possible to run a record when it is activated by someone directly?
or the only way is.
-Activate the record
-Select and then run workflow?
If the goal is run a workflow when the status changes, you gan adjust the workflow trigger to run when the status of record changes.
The workflow can be executed asynchronously, when the records state changed , with conditions.
