Hi Everyone,
I have a slight confusion between the Username and Email address of a Guest User in Dynamics 365 CRM. Here the Username (username#ext#@company1.onmicrosoft.com) is not matching with the primary email address(username@company2.com) of Guest users in CRM. So, the end users instead of using the username to login into CRM, they have been using their primary email address to login.
So Issues are :
1. After Logging in they are unable to see the Power bi Dashboards in CRM and I believe they have to use the username to login instead of primary email address.
2. The (Incoming email) and (Appointments, tasks contacts) in mailbox are failing and I believe this is because of the mismatch between username and primary email address.
Please let me know your suggestions. Thank you!
So, Do you know any solution on how to solve the mailbox issue with Guest users when the username and primary email are not matching.
I will check whether the Dashboards are shared properly or not.
Coming to Username, It looks something like this:
Thanks for the reply.
Hey.
According to learn.microsoft.com/.../invite-users-azure-active-directory-b2b-collaboration:
- Users should login with their primary email address. I don't think the '#' character would be allowed as input.
- There are some limitations with using the mailbox functionalities:
Invited users will not be able to use their own tenant email addresses when performing email related transactions in the host environment.
- With regards to the PowerBI, you should indicate more details on the issue. Have you checked if they're correctly shared?
