Not able to delete a table

Hi,

In AX 7, I tried to delete a table, this custom table is in my own model (not the standard table).

I open AOT, and right click "Add to project", then from project, I right click the table to "Delete" it. However I got an error "The process cannot access file "J:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\ApplicationSuite\LUKA\AxTable\LUKATempStaging.xml' because it is being used by another process."

I tried to stop the AOS, batch servers, DIXF servers and Management reporter service, but still no luck.

Can you check references for this table it may help you find out where it is being used. You van delete it from package directory if you dont want it.

Try deleting it from the physical folder.

Hi Faisal,

That is correct, it is part of the data entity project. And I did delete other object including the data entity itself successfully. Just this one I am not able to delete.

Hi Yuji,

Was this table created when you created a data entity. The naming convention of the table with staging in it seems to me it was created through data entity. It thats the case try to delete data entity first.
