Hi experts,
From the article X++ in Git - Finance & Operations | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn, there is a statement:
Does it mean we have to use TFVC for code repository? I am a bit confused, could we still use Git for X++?
Thanks,
Hi Yuji, In addition to Martin's comment, you can check these community techtalks on using GIT in D365 F&O
The statement means that you can use Git for code management, but you'll still need to create a TFVC repo to make LCS happy.
The documentation page (X++ in Git) wouldn't make sense if using Git for X++ wasn't possible. Many development teams use for years.
