Hi All,

I am trying to create custom dashboards using my custom views and custom charts. No matter how many time i delete and recreate the filter does not get saved while creating a chart.

Did anyone experienced this issue before?

Is there a solution for this

    can you export the chart and add the filter into xml and import and publish. try this method to see if this issue still exist?

    In the XML under which line i can see the view filter?

    Hi Wei,

    My custom view= All Pdot cases (filter= Account or Parent account = Pdot)

    My custom chart:

    View= All Pdot cases

    Legend: case = count all

    Horizontal: case type

    Here while creating chart though i set the view to All Pdot cases the system is not saving the view that was set

    Hi,

    while creating the chart, the view you selected is only preview only. You have to select the view in Dashboard .

    Open up the dashboard, and double click the chart.

    Thanks Wei.

    So far I don't know that view is just for preview mode.
