find SOAP Hostname for RSAT testing tool

Hi there,

I want to know how to find soap hostname for my Dynamics env(stage env) on vm. I tried by searching into IIS and find hostname from here. or adding .soap after name.

Can you help on this ?

Just add soap prefix

Hi Loan,

For tier 1 cloud hosted environment, you can go to this path look at the web config file.

K:\AosService\WebRoot

Look for web.config file, open with notepad, then look at the line (search soapServicesUrl). you will find it.

For tier 2 and above, your environment url would be

testing.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com

just add like this

testingaossoap.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com

Thanks for response but i have tried with soap prefix after env but unfortunately failed(fthere is no endpoint listening at....)

Not in front of laptop, but I think your tier 2 should be

bddyn-stageaossoap.sandbox.operations.dynamics.com

Hi Lim,

I have tried with this url for soap but unfortunately again fauleted state error. Regarding settings i have saved them into config file and open in RSAT tool.(but i think this should not be a cause)

The name is correct, this seems like the certificate thumbprint issue.

could you go to LCS, go to this tier 2 environment, generate the new thumbprint and put it on the setting please?
