Asset leasing - equal principal amounts

Hello community,

I have a lease agreements with equal principal amounts. As a result my payment amounts are different for every month. In the Asset Leasing module the only option is to enter the payment amount, but in this scenario the amount will be different for every month. I could manually calculate my payment amount for every month and enter separate payment lines for each month, but is there an easier way to do it?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

The following article is available to help configure and use Asset leasing in a manner that's optimal for your organizations' business situation:

Kostadin Kostadinov  Would you please elaborate more on what kind of manual calculations you have to do to determine the monthly payment?

Did you come across "Breakdown payment" feature?

    Hi Mohamed,

When principal amount is equal the payment amount is different for every month. I am not sure how Payment amount breakdown could help, because it could be used when you have payment amount(principal + interest) + additional expense for payment every month which is not part of the principal.

So in this case I entered a new payment amount for every month manually, but it can be achieved with calculation. In my example the principal is 154.17 usd every month. I add the month interest to this amount this is how I get the payment amount. From the second screenshot you can see my liability amortisation schedule exported in excel. When I deduct the monthly interest from the payment amount you will see that the principal is equal, but I need to calculate every month payment amount outside the system and then import it in the schedule.
