How windows store App consume NAV page Web service

I am at lost as to how to consume NAV page web service in Windows store app or windows 8 app. Read this reference but I still have problem candyworm.com/.../Consuming-NAV-Web-Services-in-Windows-Store-Apps1

1)Can I handle the return result using XDocument

2) How to check when to use XDocument or other DataType to handle return result.

Can someone provide me an example or tutorial for Windows 8 App or Windows store app.
