Hello Experts,

I was wondering whether its possibile to add custom activities to the activity menu in the app for outlook. At the moment there are only task, appointment and phonecall.

Any chance this is possible?

Regards and many thanks,

    Hello,

So far, I didn't find any indication that is possible to enable the custom activity entity to appear there.

The only think that I know it's possible is to enable the custom activity entity to appear in the regarding field: docs.microsoft.com/.../enable-a-custom-entity-to-appear-in-the-regarding-lookup

Adding on to Torrado's response, try what he said and then also enable quick create for your custom activity entity. Then of course make sure the quick create forms are in the App (same process as Torrado listed).

This is all just an educated guess as I don't have the means to test my theory it right now.

    Hi AlanCRM23,

Maybe you can Customize which entities appear in Quick create.

Add a custom entity to quick create in Dynamics 365 App for Outlook (Dynamics 365 apps) | Microsoft Docs\

1.Enable Allow quick create and Reading pane in Dynamics 365 for Outlook.

2.Create a quick create form for the custom activity entity.

3.Open 'App for outlook' app designer to add the new custom activity entity to it.

Now, you can view custom activity entity in the list of new records in the outlook.
