Create a new service item - i.e. it has no inventory -  use a sensible description like 'production cost' or 'admin cost' - give it a UoM of EA and cost of 1
Add it as line to your BOM/production order with as many units as you  of as you need to add the cost you want to the bom
In the same way you deal with set up or scrap allowance it can be fixed or variable- i.e. be added as a cost per order, or per parent item produced.
Some might consider it a 'fudge ' factor but its simple and therefore  works well enough in the real world for many situations.

Why not just create a service item as a cost collector with a cost of 1 and add it either as a fixed or variable amount to add whatever value you want?

    Hi,

You cannot eliminate a previously recorded line.

The only thing that you can do is creating a new one that will be used for all future transactions.

The newly created line thus expires the old one.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi,

Thank you for sharing this. If you are system admin you should be able to click into the rate part, select the arrow down sign and create a new line with a rate of 0.

Can you test whether this works in your case?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
