i am facing an issue in a customer site , that when we run procurement workflow ( purchase requisition ) , approval process takes too much time when all users are using the ax , and taking less time when there is less users

so i need to know what is the best practices for optimizing the workflow performance , Dose the Dynamics ax  performance Inversely proportional with number of online users  ??? , and should we put buying new AOS instances for load balance purposes  in our plan
