Hi All,
Is there any way we can automatically do weekly database backup in Business Central? If yes, from where we can get the backup of the database and how we can restore it back in Business Central?
Thanks in Advance
Hi
Are you on BC on-prem or SaaS?
For SaaS Microsoft backup your environment see this.
docs.microsoft.com/.../restore-production-environment-point-in-time-past
Or do you mean you want export SaaS database somewhere else? see this
docs.microsoft.com/.../tenant-admin-center-database-export

For on-prem it depends on deployment but see this for some idea

Hi,
Microsoft already handles automatic backups for you (typically daily). You won’t be able to download the database backup file yourself, but you can restore the environment to a previous point in time from the Admin Center whenever needed.
If you're on On-Prem, then backups are managed through SQL Server. In this case, you can set up a SQL Server Agent job to run weekly backups and store the .bak files in your chosen location. If you ever need to restore, you can do it via SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and then reconnect it to your Business Central instance.
So in short:
