Privileges for the invoice button in a sales order

Hello Experts!

I'm having trouble finding the correct priviledge or even Entry Point (AOT name) to give certain users the ability to press the invoice button. The only way to get it working is via the system administrator role (which shows everything and doesn't check if you have the right to be on that screen or not).

I created a priviledge with alle Entry points (AOT names) and still I can't see the button on my test account. I also tried every standard Microsoft Role (and allowd the SOD warnings) and again I couldn't find it. Also I created a duty with every priviledge in it and still I can't see the invoice button.

Any help would be appriciated.

Did you try "SalesFormLetter_InvoiceMaintain" privilege?

Hi,

Layan is correct with providing the technical name of the privilege granting access to generate the invoice. If you have access to a development environment, it is possible to look at all technical details. The name of the menu item used for generating the invoice is an action menu item called SalesFormLetter_Invoice.

My problem was that the AOT entry SalesFormLetter_InvoiceMaintain (Action Menu Item) was on deny in a priviledge that was used in a lot of duties (and roles).
