SMTP or Exchange server settings in GP 10.00 to trigger email functionality

Hi All,

We are using GP 10.00 version , am trying to found out  email server settings in the application.

i am able to see that lot of blogs are explaining about email settings in other versions,like in company email settings etc..

But in GP 10.00 there is no such option available to set up the mail in company mail settings.

is there any way to setup the SMTP/exchange server in GP application,so that mail can trigger.

Please help me on this.

    This feature is in the more recent version of Dynamics GP.  you will want to get your GP version upgraded, you are about 7 versions behind.  There have been an enourmous number of feature released that I am sure would also help your organization.

    Hi Melissa,

    Thank you for your time & suggestions to upgrade the GP version.

    but, if there is no such option available to GP 10.00 version, could you please let me know the other area where we have to configure the mail server to trigger mails in GP application.

    currently we are configuring mail server in SQL server database mail management.
