We currently have D365 Marketing App just in a Live environment with no DEV/UAT.
If we were to implement a Dev environment, does anybody know the functionality that a Non-Production Marketing App allows? Would we be able to build test customer journeys that send out emails with this? Or is email sending disabled in the non-Production app? I can't seem to find any documentation online on the differences in functionality between the Production and non-Production apps.

Don't worry it!
Non-production apps retain the same functionality as production apps.
The distinction between a non-production license and a production license is only relevant to the purchase price at the time you buy the license.
Whether you use a non-production or production app, the app's interface and functionality will be the same.

The Non-production Marketing app has the same functions and background Marketing Seervices as the production app.
So you can use it to create Journeys and send out (test-)emails without any issues.
