Change recurrence in batch job

Hi there,

I am trying to change the recurrence in Change based alerts and email processing batch. I click on the menu option, click on the recurrence button, click ok, close, ok close. When I go back into the form, those changes haven't saved. Anyone knows why? What should I do to change it? As you can see the recurrence changes all the time to "stop after 1 time" which is not very useful. Changes in time zone and repeat after do not stay either:

    Hi,

Could you kindly elaborate what exactly your requirement here?

If you want to use recurrence, you may select "No end date" option .

    Hi CapsLock,

You are adding these batch jobs in the system. Did you go to the Batch jobs form and check the recurrence set for them? I think you might have added multiple batch jobs for the same task.

    Hi Ramit,

The problem is that I do select "No end date" but when I close and reopen the form, the changes haven't saved.

Gunjan, I checked the batch jobs (System administrator > Inquiries > Batch jobs) and the recurrence there seems fine. Problem is that the batch job is assigned to a user that is not enabled. So,

    1. I still don't understand why the recurrence doesn't stay in the other forms.

    2. How do I setup this batch job against a user that is enabled. I tried setting up a new alert from scratch but in the batch jobs still not see my user.

    Hi,

    Do one thing.

Close the page and start the session once again, perform your steps and finish and then save it in batch job form.

Without saving, it will work like that only.

    Hi CapsLock,

    1. The forms you shared are for setting up a new batch job only and won't hold the last values you selected. Since the batch jobs are being setup fine, I don't think you need to worry about it.

    2. You can modify the user on the batch job already created using SQL. You can check this blog for the same. But, when you are creating the new batch jobs, is it not picking up your user Id? You can cancel the old batch jobs and set up new ones with the correct recurrence and these should be under your user Id.
