Problem activating an Inbound HTTP port.

I am new to AX and I am having trouble configuring Document Services for IIS.  I am getting the following error:

“The deployment web site was not found for port: TestServiceGroupIIS. “

When I try to activate the Inbound port. I create a new inbound port and name it TestServiceGroupIIS. I then add the salesorderservice.Create from the services option and then select activate.

I have been able to define a web site in System Administration->Setup->Services and AIF->web sites that validates successfully. I created a “test” service group  that has the SalesOrderService added to it in the AOT. I have successfully registered it and it shows up in the inbound ports grid as an active TCP port. I just can’ t get  an HTTP port setup.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I was also facing same issue. I had a '/' after MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif60 in my URL in Websites section.

I have removed '/' and it worked.

0.- Check that System Administration->Setup->Services and AIF->web sites -> validation is successful.

Go to your AIfWebService folder that is IIS AIF virtual folder, and check permissions for AOS user.

In that folder, you should have a bin directory. Enter in it. If only Languages folders and one file are shown, there are some files missing.

1.- From Ax Client configuration, update the webservices.

2.- In Ax, go to System administration > Setup > Checklists > Initialization checklist.  Expand the Initialize system node. Click Set up Application Integration Framework. I think this point is what generates the missing files I told in point 0.

3.- Enter Inbound Ports form. Try to delete your http inbounds port and regenerate them; Or at least, be sure of reentering the Adapter section in order to refresh the Website config. This recompiles CIL and checks all is OK before deploying your HTTP webservice.

    Make sure IIS is running.

URL under addresses should look like https://localhost/MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif60/[your port name]/xppservice.svc

Virtual directory share path under web sites must match: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\AifWebServices

URL under web sites must match https://localhost/MicrosoftDynamicsAXAif60

Let me know if this helps.
