Approval workflow with Position hierarchy

Hi All,

I am experiencing an odd issue with AP journal workflow using position hierarchy in D365:

I have an Hierarchy with 2 levels approval process:

1) Jacopo or Trent submit payment journal,

2) Ghannasham is first approver and will approve it,

3) Security is second approver and will approve it.

ISSUE: But when Ghannasham approves it, the system assigned the workflow to Ghannasham again (instead of being forwarded to second approver Security).

Perhaps someone has seen the same issue before, any help would be very appreciated.

I reported below the Workflow configuration.

Hi,

How does your position hierarchy look like?

Have you tried removing the condition specified? If so, did this help?

What might give you some additional insights are the the related workflow videos that have been published here: organicax.com/.../workflow

Probably go through them to verify whether you overlooked something in your setup.

The Employee"Ghannasham" should have a position with manager "Security"

Hi Ashraf, The employee "Ghannasham" has already a position which reports to position "Security".
