So:
I can create an event in Dynamics. I can then activate a feature to use marketing forms for people to register to this event.
I can create an event registration form to register people for my event.
But where can I actually use the form? If not in the marketing pages that are specifically there to host forms.
If I can only use them on the event website, what's the point? The event website doesn't need a form to register people anyway.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills here.
Dutz_inc - most organisations I work with are not using the Events Portal and instead are taking the Javascript code for a form and embedding it on their own website. This is a perfect approach for organisations who aren't putting on a full Event with many sessions, and perhaps are hosting one or two online webinars each month. So definitely not ONLY able to use them on the event website, and can embed them on any domain that has been authenticated with your D365 Marketing environment.
This article might help in terms of setting up the form: Events In D365 Marketing - Creating Your Registration Form (meganvwalker.com)
And this one in terms of then embedding it on a website: Events In D365 Marketing - Adding Events - Megan V. Walker (meganvwalker.com)
Hope that helps!
