Greetings All,
I followed the course ...
81269AE: Designing XRM Customizations in Dynamics 365
81270AE: Customizing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 User Interface
to build a custom entity for "Loan Application". I ensured that the check boxes in the custom entity for "Sales" and "Service" are checked.
However, i still cannot see it in the navigation pane on the main page ...
I saw some community members advising to get the Client Extensions populated ... but I cannot find the custom entity in it. So, I ended up adding the ones made available (just for kicks) ...
Still that did not work.
The above course is fantastic. Its just that they missed the last piece of adding the entity to the main navigation page. Wondering if someone can guide?

thank you! Apparently I updated the wrong App as our partner had a custom version of the saleshub. :)
Thank you!
Did you publish the app AND the sitemap? Try to re-order Firmen and Kontakte to see if you modify the correct sitemap. If that works - did you apply any security, i.e. is it possible that your user does not have access to the new entity?
Hi!
thank you so much for laying out a solution for this subject. I managed to get my custom entity ("Kunde") being shown in the navigation pane. However it does not show it in the right place... Do you know why?
I tried to change (and publish) an adapted sitemap
but nothing changed... Is should appear below "Kontakte".
I thank you so much in advance!!
Best
Leif
Hello Ashish,

Additionally you can refer the following blog : docs.microsoft.com/.../create-edit-app
