I'm wondering how you customise where the buttons are on the top ribbon in NAV 2013 for multiple users - for all users in the company or all users of a profile? - so I don't have to go round every computer doing it. thanks!

Create 2 diff. Profiles and modify as you need by opening Config Mode and assign to diff. users based on the requirement.

If i understand it correctly you want to open a profile in configuration mode.

Configuration Mode let you make changes which cannot be reverted by end user of the system.
Let me know if you have any other issues.
