Display Invent Sum Data to Custom Form

Hi,

I made a custom table and store a list of product in the table. Below are the fields of my custom table

  • ItemId
  • ConfigurationId

What I need now is to display the inventory summary of those products that are stored in the table.

Is there an easy way to achieve that? I also need an option to breakdown the summary per site and warehouse.

I'm using AX 2012 R3.

Hi Crispin, Thank you for your reply, I actually need to display the data directly to the grid so the user can see it when opening my custom form without having to click per item just to view the inventory summary.

    Hi Von,

Is there a need for a new form? You can use the standard on hand form to display the same information. You can create and save queries with lists of items (as replacement for your new table). What is the exact business scenario?

Yes I used the configurationId dimension. So basically what I need to display is the Inventory of the item of the specific Dimension (configurationID). I also need have an option breakdown per site and warehouse location. Could be a checkbox or button to trigger the breakdown.

    Hi Andre,

The new table is created to store all sub product of a product.  We use this in transaction to automatically populate all sub product when the main product is selected.

    Hi Von,

Added a screenshot how the standard on-hand form can be configured:

On each product, you can already link other products using 'Related products'. Possibly you can use this for linking it on the standard Advanced query form.
