Hi,
I would like to limit visibility to custom views in CRM that are not relevant to specific user. I understand they wouldn't be able to see the data anyway if they do click on the view. guess I'm looking for a solution that can make it look neater.
I think you can reach this approach by Security roles, Teams, and Business units
The view will be available in the views list, but it's will be empty (if you do the design of your structure in a perfect way).
Another solution is to do a plugin in "Retrieve Multiple" Message to avoid this custom view from appearing, you can see this blog for more information: crm365blog.wordpress.com/.../
i don't see it

Sorry I didn't get your point?
i was trying to send a screenshot via the link. i just don't see where i can deselect the views
Ok,
Can you try the solution here: crm365blog.wordpress.com/.../
By Creating Plugin in "RetreiveMultiple" Message
i don't see that entity "saved query". Am i creating a new solution?
don't understand this line We can achieve this by registering a plugin on entity “savedquery” on message “RetrieveMultiple”.
the savedquery entity is a system entity which stores the metadata of all views in the system
i went into settings, customize the system and scrolled to where the entity should be. can you send me a screenshot. stuart.coelho@samuel.com
