I've created a custom entity with a EntityImage field. With an existing record of the custom entity I can click the image field, and I can change the image. This works perfectly.
In the situation that I am in the custom entity form, and I choose to create a new custom entity, a empty form is created as expected. When the new blank custom entity form is presented, I want to show a default image. What is the way to go to arrange this?
Thanks in advance!
Hi partner,
If you mean you want to change the default image shows beside the record name when creating the entity record, it is possible.
Before you create the entity record in blank form, the image is shown as the entity icon which could be customized in entity properties.
You need to upload the image as web resource into D365 first, and set it as entity icon.
.
But remember that once you created the record, the image will be changed as the The first letter of the first two words of name and then you need to change it manually.
Best Regards,
Leo
