    Hi there,

I am assume you want to import into Visual Studio. Label files are just plain text files so you can easily add more labels to the label file with a text editor. The text files are in the LabelResources folder.

Note: the image below is an example of a standard label file. Never edit the standard label files, use extensions for that.

Edit label file with text editor directly

    Hi MYGz,

Is this custom lable file related to a custom entity that you have created?

There is not a standard entity for import lables in D365FO via Data management.

Please check the following issue for more info:

@Anton Will check this out and update here.

@Alireza I wanted the labels for the SSRS report. Have got around 20-30 labels, creating manually seems inefficient way of doing it. There should be a better way I was looking for. Will try what Anton has suggested and update.

    Hi MYGz,

You can open and edit the label file with another editor from within Visual Studio. You can look at a recording of one of my presentations about translations on YouTube. The next link starts directly at the moment where I did demo it: How to build multi lingual applications for Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps - Andre Arnaud MVP - YouTube

In that case, you don't have to go through all of the directories via the Windows explorer. When you use e.g. Notepad you can paste the labels at once instead of creating them one by one.

Thanks Andre. Perfect solution. Didn't knew we can directly "Open With another program" from VS itself and do the changes and save.
