Number Sequence for "System ID"

Where are the Number sequence settings for Area: Basic in general and /System ID/ in particular? Is it on the Number sequences tab of one of the menu items for Parameters?

I'm looking for a description of what the /System ID/ does and how it's used?

At Organization administration > Number sequences > Number sequences, the References FastTab looks like this:

Hi GGR_AVC,

In the answers below you got information about the purpose of the number sequence. On the form Legal entities, you fill find a tab page with number sequences for the basic module. The settings need to be done per legal entity.

Hi,
This number sequence is used for all sorts of general purpose numbering in the application – specifically it’s used for any fields using the extended data type ParmId. For more details, you can view the following link:

If module-specific settings are required, you can use the parameters page in a module to specify number sequences for the references in that module.
