Import Data Wizard - can you map data to multiple custom entities?

Hi there,

I have been tasked with trying to find a way to import data into multiple entities, some of which are custom. I know you can map fields to Account and Contact at the same time, but I wanted to know if it was possible to map the data to fields on multiple custom entities (or a mixture of custom and default) at once?

Thanks :)

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

These docs can be extreme useful to achieve what you need:

Map your data to custom entities and fields - Dynamics 365 AI | Microsoft Docs

Map form data to entities with custom Workflows (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs

Create data maps for import (Developer Guide for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises)) | Microsoft Docs

Last one is for on-prem environments.

    Welcome to this amazing community.

This is pretty much what I do when I need to import parent, child entities - community.dynamics.com/.../import-case-account-and-contact-multiple-entities-3-entities-at-once-in-single-file-in-crm-import-wizard

Hi Kenneth, thank you very much for your answer and welcome :) Thank you for these links - however when looking through them I realised I hadn't specified that I'm wanting to import data from a CSV/spreadsheet! I'm struggling to apply the info in your links to what I'm wanting to do, is there another method using CSV or is there a way to use the methods you've supplied? I'm relatively new to this so sometimes translating help articles using the limited knowledge I have is tricky! Thank you :)
