Hi,
I need to delete a high number of records within a configuration point, let's say project categories. If I upload them using data entities with full push and the file does not contain those records, shouldn't they be deleted??
Thanks!
No, they shouldn't, unless you enable Truncate entity data. I don't know what you mean by full push - this is a term used in F&O for export, not import, as far as I know.
By default, new records are added, existing records are updated and records not contained in the file are ignored. If it worked as you suggested, imagine that you wanted to add a new record. It would delete everything from the table, because only the new record is in your file.
Hi CapsLock,If the table back the entity is open for deletion, you can create a import job by activating "Truncate entity data". Then before Import it will truncate records and then import data from the Excel file in an entity.
