Hi Team,

I am trying to export the data from a custom data entity and I am getting the error (Package execution failed please check event log in DMF service box-). The data entity is going to be used only for exporting the data and doesn't have any key. I have seen many links related to this error and they all discuss about importing the data. Please guide me on this.

Did you check the event log? Also I think you need to define a key for your entity - you can use RecId in this case.

I have tried using the Recid field from that table as the entity key and that didn't help. I don't see anything much in the event log too.

Anything much or anything at all? I'm sure there's something in the event log. Could you share it with us?

I have enabled change tracking in the DB and helped me fixing the issue

Hi Chiranjeevi,

What did you do to resolve the issue? Can you please share the resolution as well? I cannot track at DB level as I am getting this issue in Live environment while it is working fine in my Dev and UAT environments. Can you please brief what can I do to get rid of this error?

Help will be much appreciated.

I found some surprising resolution for above error.

Its like custom Entity, where I added a new field. That field name should be same in Staging Table as well or error will throw while exporting to csv or EXCEL.

In Staging Table ,initially I kept name as 'DXC_USEHEADERDATE' and Target Field as 'USHEADERDATE'.While generate mapping, that field gets lost from Map Staging to Target FORM, and above error comes while exporting(No error logs comes in Event viewer).

Then I tried same name of the new Field in Staging and Entity. Error goes.
