Attachment option specific to modules or section

Hello,

Employee doesn’t have option to attach documents supporting specific data update done through ESS-> Edit Personal details.

While editing personal details, if the employee update information in Identification numbers section then there is no option to attachment document against that specific row.

Similarly, there is no option of attachments while updating the certificate information.

Is there any option to have attachments visible specific to information updated in ESS page?

Hello QianQW,

Yes I have already checked this option. All the reference documents has to be attached at one place only.

The issue is with respect to specific section or row item the attachment option is not visible.

For an example that I mentioned in the query; if an employee update the identification details and wants to attach the scanned copy of his identification details against the row item; there is no option for it.

Yes. There is no option to upload the document in Edit personal details form in ESS workspace except for the employee master page.

But you can add the document while updating the certificate information.

In line with the comments above, you can upload the attachments to the items directly.

Hi Erik,

Attached documents using these options will be visible only to employees and not to other users like; manager or HR.

Based on standard security roles it's actually possible:

As a HR Assistant, I can see the data/attachment:
