Dear All,
during a hiring action in D365 HR, our HR colleague got the following error message once the workflow was completed:
Field 'Worker' must be filled in.
I checked the worker action, everything seems to be correct.
Thank you!
Hi Nora,
Do you know what are the steps she followed? I tried to hire an employee with worker action with workflow and I don't see any issue. Once the workflow is completed then I can see this message text.
The worker was hired successfully. To view the worker, open the Workers list page.
Can you confirm whether she received this error before the worker action completed?
Dear Parag,
thank you for your swift response.
The colleague used the Hire contractor option under Personnel management, used the matching function (since thus employee has a profile without employment), then it went to the workflow.
After all approvals have been made, the status became Error, and the message log says “Field ‘Worker’ must be filled”.
Thank you,
Nóra
Hi Nora
Did you double check if the User that is approving has a worker attached to their record? If you go to System Admin --> Users --> Find your user and is there a name in the 'person/worker' column?
If there are more than one approver, it would be good to check all the User-Worker's have someone attached.
Let me know it this helps or if you need anymore information.
