Hello,
I have a Dynamics AX 2009 jobs used to ran for half hours then starting 7/30/2014 the job ran over four hours.
How can I troubleshooting this issue?
Can someone give me a light or a starting point.

Steps to recreated the AX 2009 jobs:
1) Go to Inventory Management --> Periodic --> Item Status Automation ---> Item Status Automation
2) Check Batch processing ---> selected Batch group e.g Group A--> Click OK.

Hi Edwin,
Are you using an add-on or customization? Standard AX 2009 does not have this menu option. There might be a performance issue when reading e.g. inventory transactions. You can try to run a re-index job to see if the performance increases. If not, there might be a call on several tables where there might be an appropriate index missing.
