Sales Agreement lines

Hello

We use D365 FO for our business and use Sales/Purchase agreements every day. Often these agreements will have several lines of the same product (up to 10 in many cases, over different months and different prices) When we are reporting on this, or releasing orders off the lines, we can not close the individual sales lines. This means contracts can become a mess, and have several lines with no balance remaining which are still effective. It also means when releasing off a line, there are multiple to choose from but no clear information transferred from Agreement page to release order line page to differentiate between the lines or remaining balance.

Does anyone know of a way to close a single line on a sales or purchase agreement when that particular month or quantity is finished? It does not seem like it would be that unusual a thing to want to do and I would have thought it should be part of basic functionality... This way we would be able to keep things tidy as we release lines and only have available lines to choose from.

Another point which would be frustrating us is if there is a way to put a tolerance on /Max Enforced/ - As we deal in weight (Tonnes) when we deliver we can over or under deliver every time. (54tonnes on 1 line, then 27t booked but 27.2t was delivered on the first drop, we would plan to send another 27t load but the computer says no as this exceeds the maximum limit when to us this would be within our acceptable tolerance. we then must put this second order on for 26.8t) Without Max enforced there is nothing to stop someone delivering 3* 27t loads on this line but it would be out-with our acceptable tolerance.

Please advise, Thanks
