Hi everyone
I've created a Dynamic spreadsheet of data from a View that I own. The View has not been shared with other users. I then upload the spreadsheet to a Sharepoint folder, where I hoped that it could be viewed and downloaded by remote colleagues.
However, when my colleagues open the spreadsheet from Sharepoint, they don't get any data, but instead get the following message:
I appreciate that Web Queries don't work in the online version of Excel, which is why I've asked colleagues to download the spreadsheet first.
The strange is, I can download the file from the Sharepoint folder time and time again, and I always see the updated data.
Is this a Dynamics Role issue, a Sharepoint issue or something else? Also, is there another way (apart from Sharing the View) that would allow colleagues to download a Dynamic spreadsheet that I've created for them?
Many thanks
Jon
Hi
That error message is being displayed because it could not pull data from the source. It could be that when you open on your machine, your login session is cached and its able to pull the data. When other's try, the external connection may have been blocked on their excel and they may have to sign in at least once.
Please refer to the links below and see if these help.

And please note that if the user who is trying to open the excel file does not have access to those records, obviously they will not see any data or see different set of data than you do.
