Hello everyone,
I have created a poject in our dev env. There I have created an index for the table InventTrans. It took quite a lot of time. Now I need ti import this project to our prod env. The question is are there some subtleties I need to take into account while doing this? When the index is created in prod env for the InventTrans will the table InventTrans be blocked? Can It affect ax normal working?

Hi Azat,
in general, whenever you deploy some new developments to prod, you should follow a certain process. The MS best practice is described here: docs.microsoft.com/.../deploying-customizations-across-microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-environments-white-paper
So, normally you would deploy the whole modelstore from staging system to prod system.
After that you need to do a database sync (this will synchronize any changes in the AOT data model - including your index - to the SQL database.
During the prod update normal users should not be using the system. You should have only one AOS service running and you should be the only user who is logged in.
You should do all prod system updates outside office hours, and communicate this usage break to the users.
